This week, the Writers' Center of Turkey hosted the launch ceremony of a book from Afghanistan. “Until Further Notice" (Ta Amr-e Sani), written by Dr. Manizha Ramizy, is a research work focused on the history of women's struggles in Afghanistan, the achievements after 2001, the deprivations they have faced, and their ongoing resistance.

In Afghanistan, 2.2 million girls above sixth grade are deprived of attending school. Many of these girls are striving, in every way they can, to continue their education—including by learning arts such as painting.
